On friday I went to Kobe to visit my friend Felipe. Before I went to kobe I stopped by Osaka to go to the aquarium.

Mantaray. The fish on his back was weird. The fish was lying upside down and not even movie his fins.. I have no idea how he stayed on but it was cool

This summer Felipe is interning with this shoemaker Koji Suzuki. I got to check out the work shop and meet a few of the people working there. It reminded me of Pinocchio.



China Town In Kobe




One of the nights there was a festival in kobe where they had an AMAZING fire works (hanabi) show. These are the only pictures i have of the night. These things are SO GOOD. Its a ebi (shrimp) cracker, okonomiyaki sauce, mayo, Yakisoba (fried soba noodles, and a cute fried egg (this was in the shape of a heart!) and they are so good. I may have had two..and then felt real sick after
