River party with Hannah and Neal. It was such a beautiful day! This was the day mom and dad left. The previous night Mom, dad and I enjoyed beers in their hotel room and mom got me hooked on having good snacks with your beer. (aka beer snacks) So we got peanuts, dried squid and dried octopus. The squid.. not my cup of tea. the octopus was slightly lemony. I liked them!



Just a gloomy but beautiful day in Iwakura!



The other international students and I decided to have a big pot luck one day. Everyone cooked a lot of food (carbs) and we all ate it together and played a drawing game and this other weird werewolf game. Such a good night!

This past weekend our friends from Tokyo came to visit and they brought 5 of their friends from france with them!
One day we went and visited Kiyomizu temple. These cute little kids came up and wanted to talk to me. After they talked to us they gave us these funny origami balls. Then right after mine got crushed in my bag. kinda sucked.

River party action!

My school had a big party saturday night-sunday night. It was crazy. All the the dance clubs put on dance performances, there was a huge drum circle, a lot of food stands/alcohol and just nutty people. so much fun!

Some people put on a play. I have no idea what it was about but I do know that before the play they put out a shit ton of jelly or gooby shit. They were slipping and falling all over the place. Fucking hilarious.


Then some people brought out some frogs... I felt really bad for the frogs because they were not being very nice to them... I will not say what they finally did to them.

Maiko! AKA apprentice geisha. I felt bad for them because it was about 80 degrees.


I watched this woman pick her nose for about a whole stop light. And the day I had my river day party with Hannah and Neal.. She was there but she was pulling out her pants and looking at her private areas. I hope I see this woman again.
