The other day I Went to the Ginkakuji temple (silver temple). I have been in Kyoto for quite some time now and the only real time I actually went to go look at temples was prob the first week when I got here and with my parents. I just think they all look the same and in this humidity I could not be bothered by walking around looking for temples. But like I said the other day I finally went to see the silver temple. There were so many annoying school kids and it cost 500 yen to get in and it was hotter than a bitch. The only good thing is that I got a black sesame ice cream cone after I went into the temple.. Oishii!

On my way to Ginkakuji I saw this huge pile of shit. First really big pile of shit I have seen in Japan. Photo worthy.

Critterland Pet store.. Japan style

This lady was an exact replica of the goblin from LIttle nemo. Just ask scary and prob would make the same sorts of noises if i got closer to her.

The grounds of Ginkakuji Temple.

lovely roots

I saw this guy riding his bike on the philosophers path and took a picture of him. Then he came hobbling over to me and asked me if I wanted to by a rock he painted on. At first I was kinda scared that he was going to say something weird to me but he was really sweet. I rejected his rock and walked down the path like 20 feet and turned around and bought one. Not out of sympathy but because they were really sweet and cute. Most expensive rock I ever bought in my life. After giving me my rock he gave me two english maps and some japanese cookies. I felt so happy when I left him.

Outside a conbini (convenience store) one day... this kid was just chillin. The mom left him in the basket while she went inside for about 5-7 min....A.)someone could have taken the baby b.) the bike could have fallen over and the baby could have been really hurt C.) that woman was an idiot. Good thing I do not like stealing babies because I would have taken him if I did.
